In GAP (Global Apprentice Program), you'll be sent to live and serve alongside one of our Mission Bases. This isn’t just a trip—it's a chance to dive into real-life mission work. You’ll discover a new culture, make new friends, learn, and see how it’s done firsthand.

You won’t just watch, though. You'll roll up your sleeves and get involved, serving others together. Like any apprentice, you'll be hands-on, learning by doing. Plus, you’ll get 1-on-1 mentoring from experienced global leaders to guide you every step of the way.

All you need to know

  • We’re offering this apprenticeship to those who feel God is calling them into a season of global missions.

    You may have joined a short-term team overseas as part of your church or school. Perhaps you’ve lived cross-culturally with your family or as an exchange student. Or you might be serving significantly within a multicultural community.

    Somewhere along the way, global mission has captured your heart, God has got your attention and you want to pursue this further. You are who we are looking for! Our hope is to help you to discern the next steps.

  • As a missionary order, NAMS has spent the last 30 years inspiring, training, assisting, and planting churches across the globe. We've made disciples and taught about discipleship in countless places, and now we’re ready to share all that experience and knowledge with the next generation of global dreamers.

    Our goal? To inspire, invest in, prepare, and support you—the generation ready to make an impact for Christ.

    By joining the Global Apprentice Program, you’ll become part of a community. A community filled with global apostolic leaders who are ready to walk with you every step of the way as you learn, grow, and serve.

  • The NAMS Global Apprentice Program (GAP) offers exciting opportunities in Asia, Europe, and the USA. Each experience is tailored to you as we work together to discern and identify where the Lord is leading you.

    GAP is a global program that lasts for 9 months, giving you a deep dive into mission life. However, if you're looking for something shorter, we also offer other options like the Dunamis Global Experience and NAMS Adventures, allowing you to get a taste of global mission in a shorter time frame.
