Arkansas Church Planting Initiative
Our Mission Base Georgetown successfully conducted an intensive Leadership Training event in Little Rock this March, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at stimulating church planting across Arkansas.
The two-day leadership vision event brought together 20 key ministry leaders from Saint Andrews Church Little Rock to explore and align around a shared vision for church multiplication throughout the region. The event was facilitated by Jon and Joel Shuler from the NAMS Mission Base Georgetown, known for their extensive experience in church planting initiatives.
"NAMS believes that this gathering represents a pivotal moment for church planting in Arkansas," said Jon Shuler. "Saint Andrews Church has tremendous potential to lead a movement that could impact communities throughout the state with the Gospel."
The event began with a relationship-building dinner followed by two strategic sessions designed to foster meaningful dialogue. The following morning included two additional sessions with ample time for questions, discussion, and collaborative visioning. Throughout the event, participants engaged in conversations exploring Saint Andrews' unique position to champion church planting efforts in the region.
This leadership event is the first in a series of planned engagements between NAMS and Saint Andrews Church, building on the foundation of a long-term partnership focused on equipping and empowering the congregation to become a hub for church planting. The initiative will continue with a second event in May that will expand to include a wider audience of church members and regional ministry partners.
"We're witnessing the beginning of what could become a transformative movement for Arkansas," noted Joel Shuler. "The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by the leadership at Saint Andrews gives us great confidence in what lies ahead."
