NAMS at the Fourth Lausanne Congress
A Global Presence for the Mission of God
The New Anglican Missionary Society (NAMS) participated in the Fourth Lausanne Congress, held in Seoul, South Korea. Representing NAMS on-site were the Rev. Andrés Casanueva, Prior of the NAMS Base in Temuco, Chile, and Pranab Kishor Kumar, a NAMS Companion from India and a member of the NAMS Base in Asia.
In addition to their physical presence, many NAMS brothers and sisters are virtually attending the congress from around the world, contributing to this significant global gathering aimed at advancing God's mission. Their participation underscores NAMS' commitment to sharing the Gospel across the nations.
The Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization, held in Seoul, South Korea, brought together Christian leaders, thinkers, and missionaries from around the world. Organized by the Lausanne Movement, the event aimed to address key challenges in global missions and evangelism in the modern era. With a focus on developing strategies to reach unreached people groups and strengthen the global church, the congress fostered collaboration and unity among diverse Christian organizations. Continuing the legacy of the first congress in 1974, initiated by leaders like John Stott and Billy Graham, the event inspired and equipped participants for worldwide evangelization efforts.
As the congress unfolds, NAMS encourages prayers for its representatives and virtual attendees, trusting that this event will deepen their engagement in God’s mission to bring the gospel to the world and a new era of church planting.
