Consultation in Nepal
It was a joy to welcome 50 pastors and leaders from all seven states of Nepal to the Leadership Development Consultation. Organized by NAMS Companion, Pr. Tek Prasad Rijal, and his team, in partnership with NAMS Network and faith2Share, the event provided a crucial opportunity for discussion and planning for the future.
For many attendees, this was their first leadership formation since the pandemic, which tragically claimed the lives of numerous pastors, leaving a profound void in their communities. For that reason, the Christian leaders explored the challenges and needs in leadership. They also talked about leadership development to prepare the next generations of leaders.
The program focused on biblical principles of leadership development and their practical application. It highlighted the impact of faithful leadership and missionary discipleship within families and communities, emphasizing the importance of coaching and mentoring.
Speakers included Rev. Manik Correa, former NAMS global executive leader; Anton Ponomarev, Associate International Director of Faith2Share; Dr. Mangalman Maharjan, Senior Pastor of Patan Koinonia Church; and Pastor Dr. Stephen Shiva.
