The 5/50 initiative
A Movement to Transform America through Church Planting
Across the United States, a new spiritual awakening is stirring—a movement ready to reshape the nation’s spiritual landscape. This movement, driven by the New Anglican Missionary Society’s (NAMS) 5/50 Mission, is centered on a bold vision: to plant 250 new churches by 2040, with five new churches established in every state. These are not just places of worship, but great commission congregations designed to inspire, disciple, and multiply, transforming lives and local neighborhoods through the power of the Gospel.
At the core of this movement is a deep desire to see authentic, Christ-centered spiritual renewal. The 5/50 Mission seeks to create thriving local congregations where people are not only welcomed but mentored and equipped to live as true disciples of Jesus. These churches will serve as centers of spiritual vitality, reaching out to families, cities, and counties, leaving a lasting impact for generations to come.
Already, signs of God’s work are visible. NAMS is currently engaged in exploring 19 strategic locations across seven states, with new opportunities arising regularly. Each of these locations represents more than just a new church—it is an opportunity to disciple our nation. These apostolic hubs will nurture leaders, equip believers, and plant new churches that will grow deep roots in their local communities.
This new historic movement isn’t merely a vision for the future; it’s an invitation to believers everywhere to participate in reshaping the spiritual frame of the USA. As churches are planted, lives are transformed, and disciples are made, the Gospel’s influence will spread, restoring hope and bringing renewal to every corner of the nation.
Join in this exciting journey as the Lord awakens His people to lead a movement that will reshape the spiritual foundation of America.
