2024: Unexpected Growth
2024 has been a year of remarkable growth for the New Anglican Missionary Society (NAMS). Over the past year, we have established five Mission Bases and two Outposts across four continents, formed by 29 Companions and Sisters. In 2025, we anticipate launching a new Mission Base in Brazil, while also starting new work in Africa and South America.
This has been a year of bold faith, as we stepped forward with a vision to see 3,000 new faithful churches planted worldwide by 2050, including 250 in the USA. This vision is already taking shape, with new churches being planted—or preparing to launch—in the USA, Brazil, Spain, England, North Africa, Pakistan, India, and other nations.
At the heart of our mission lie the Mission Bases—the operational apostolic hubs of NAMS. These Bases bring together Companions and Sisters (missionary disciples) who work in unity to inspire, equip (train), assist (coach), and plant faithful churches to disciple the nations.
Those discerning a call to NAMS vocation and spirituality begin a process called Postulancy. This journey allows individuals to explore what it means to live as Companions and Sisters—following the NAMS Rule, belonging to a non-geographical Mission Base, and working together to fulfill the Great Commission.
In recent months, nearly 30 new brothers and sisters have entered the Postulancy process. If they are confirmed as Companions and Sisters, they will join our current 29 missionary disciples who are already serving faithfully across the globe.
This unexpected growth has opened new doors to advance God’s Kingdom and serve dioceses and churches around the world. As we look to 2025, we invite you to consider giving an end-of-year donation to support our mission and the work ahead.
We are deeply grateful to the Lord for all He has done in 2024 and remain steadfast in faith for what He will accomplish in the year to come.
Thank you for partnering with us!
