New Work in Luxor (Egypt)
In the last months, NAMS has been helping the Rev James Paice as he answered God's calling to plant an English Church in Luxor (Egypt), a place known as the land of Pharaohs. The Rev Paice has previous experience in church-planting when he planted a church in Madeira (Portugal) few years ago.
The establishment of an English-speaking church could provide a valuable spiritual connection for tourists, expatriates, and others who want to explore their faith in English. We hope this new church will bring comfort and community to expatriates and others in Luxor. Rev. Paice is gathering individuals to form this new congregation, and already, the church is holding weekly meetings.

NAMS is providing support to this new work through training and mentorship. Furthermore, our Servant General, Bishop Josep Rossello, is planning a trip to Luxor in December to lead services and offer pastoral support to the emerging congregation.
Please join us in praying for Rev. James Paice, for the growing congregation in Luxor, and for the visit of the Servant General to Egypt. We ask for God's continued blessing upon this new work as we obey the Lord and the Final Command of Christ.
