Mission Trip to Albania

Two Companions recently completed a fruitful mission trip to Albania, focusing on building relationships with local churches in Tirana and Berat. This mission is a significant step towards establishing a NAMS Outpost in Albania next year.

Albania presents both opportunities and challenges for its believers and the mission to the Balkans. Recognizing this, NAMS sent a team to lay the foundation for a NAMS Outpost. In Tirana, the capital, the team had productive conversations with church leaders. These meetings helped forge strong connections and laid the groundwork for future partnerships.

In Berat, known for its rich history, the team found a welcoming church eager to share their faith with others. Pastor Turi and his wife, Noku, have a heart to reach Berat and nearby towns. There is an opportunity to establish the NAMS Outpost in Berat, pending confirmation of the Lord's guidance during the visit.

The planned NAMS Outpost in Albania will provide ongoing assistance to the church in partnership and other local churches, offering resources, practical help, and training to further the Gospel in Berat, Albania, and the Balkans.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Turi, Noku, and their church in Berat for their hospitality, and to the team for their dedication. This mission trip not only strengthened existing bonds but also set the stage for a thriving church in Albania. May this inspire others to join us to disciple the nations through inspiring, equipping, assisting, and planting churches.
