New Horizons in Asia
Exciting New Developments for NAMS in Asia
Exciting opportunities are emerging for NAMS (New Anglican Missionary Society) in Asia. Through our NAMS Base and Outposts, NAMS is dedicated to sharing the gospel and planting churches among some of the world's most unreached people groups.
NAMS Companions recently had productive meetings with leaders from a country with strict anti-conversion laws to explore innovative ways to reach and plant churches among diaspora communities in Thailand.
We are also eagerly anticipating a visit from The Rt Revd. David Nyi Nyi Niang (Diocesan Bishop of Mandalay) to discuss how NAMS can support this diocese during the ongoing challenges in Myanmar and minister to displaced people.
Furthermore, five enthusiastic Asian apprentices will soon begin the NAMS GAP (Global Apprentice Program), where they will receive comprehensive training in mission, disciple-making, and church planting.
With Asia being home to 60% of the world’s population, NAMS is passionately committed to fulfilling Jesus' final command by making disciples and planting new churches across the continent.
As NAMS continues to expand its efforts in Asia, we are filled with hope and anticipation for the future. The dedication of our Companions, the enthusiasm of our new Apprentices, and the strength of our strategic partnerships all contribute to a vibrant and growing mission for God’s glory. We are committed to disciple the unreached, planting new churches, and spreading the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Together, we will continue to make a meaningful impact and fulfill our calling to disciple all nations.
