Urgent Prayer Request
A strong 7.7-magnitude earthquake rocked Thailand and neighbouring Myanmar on Friday, bringing down a skyscraper under construction in Bangkok and toppling buildings in Mandalay.
The Rev Isaac Lasky, the Prior of Mission Base Asia, who is serving in Bangkok (Thailand), said, "Thankfully, we’re all okay, but many members are very shaken up and still need places to stay after the aftershocks are finished. Things look really bad in Myanmar, where our Bishop Guardian, the Rt Rev David Nyi Nyi Naing, serves as the Diocesan Bishop."
Let us pray for Mandalay and Myanmar, and the Anglican Diocese of Mandalay.
